In the period from November to December 2016 we conducted a market study on the subject BI as a Service in cooperation with Heilbronn University. The study, attended by 350 experts, deals with the status quo of use of enterprise resource planning (ERP)and business intelligence (BI) applications, as well as with the benefit and needs of BI applications. In addition, reasons for purchase of BI as a Service (BIaaS) as well as advantages of and reservations against BIaaS are highlighted. Within the framework of a student project at Heilbronn College, we conduct an online survey on the topic “Business Intelligence as Software as a Service (SaaS)”. The goal of the survey is to collect information about market requirements and acceptance of a BI solution as software as a service. The survey lasts 7 minutes and can be found here. The participant data will, of course, be treated anonymously and strictly confidential. Participants receive, if desired,
